What is the data retrieval fee?

Intuit is now charging third-party apps for calls to the QuickBooks Online API.

How much will I have to pay?

There will be two usage plans based on the number of API Calls you use and the number of Online Companies you have.

Standard Usage Plan- is for accounts with less than 10,000 API Calls per online company in a month. The cost will be $6 a month per online company.

Enterprise Usage Plan- is for accounts with over 10,000 API Calls per online company in a month or over 50 online companies. We will contact you regarding your options.

How do I know how many calls I’m using?

Every time you refresh, you use about 100 API Calls per company. If you refresh once a day, you will use around 3,000 API Calls per company in a month.

You can check your usage by going to https://gypsybi.com/usage-lookup/. You will need to know your activation email address and your license key. If you don’t have that information, contact sales@gypsybi.com

How will I be billed?

For the Standard Usage Plan you will be billed annually together with your annual maintenance fee.

If you are on the Enterprise Usage Plan, you will be billed monthly.

What if I haven’t paid my maintenance?

To provide you with the software updates and technical support necessary for this change, maintenance will no longer be optional for online companies.  Your maintenance fee will be billed at the same time as your data usage bill.
