We recently created two reports for a company that makes sheds. A shed has four walls, a floor, and a roof. Each of these is a QuickBooks Inventory Assembly. Each consists of lumber, nails, etc. The first report shows, for each order, how much material went into each assembly and the second, is a "pick list" report that shows how much material went into the whole shed.
The first report looks like this:
